Empire Beauty School

I have had my hair done here plenty of times... and the key word is THEY ARE LEARNING, the teachers come out and will fix what they can... I have had my hair cut, colored and bleached and plan on going there today... it is students that do your hair, thats why its cheaper and thats y you sign a paper not to hold them responsible...if they cut a little more than expected well they are learning... and your hair will grow back. I would much rather pay 50.00 than 120.00 and the same thing can happen at the mall... hair cuts are like 5.00-8.00 I ll take it... color is like 20.00 - 30.00 instead of 100.00....yep Im goin to empire beauty school... Don't waste your time going here. I know it's cheap, but go somewhere else! I first went once in 2009 and my haircut ended up bad.. which can sort of be expected since they're learning, but still.. and I just went again for the second time last week and my results are beyond horrible. First off, the stylist that was supposed to do my hair called off, and they called me only 15 minutes before the appointment to tell me. I went anyways and had somebody else do it. Then the girl who did it was rude-she only said about 2 words to me the entire time I was there..and her and her friends working there spent about 10 minutes complaining about a customer because she didn't leave her a good enough tip. Another stylist that was next to me kept complaining saying remarks like "Ugh, I don't want that if it's only that much! Wow I can't believe that's all she left me as a tip"... how unprofessional to do in front of other customers. My haircut ended up uneven. One side is longer than the other, the cut is blotchy.. nothing like it was supposed to be.. Then she asked how I wanted her to style it. I told her straightened. Well, at home when I straighten my hair, it takes about 60-90 minutes to do because I have extremely thick/curly hair. She only did it in like 15 minutes, so when she was done you couldn't even tell she even attempted to straighten it... but I guess that's expected when you're going to somebody that's learning.
