I think Joao is the best stylist in Boston! I love his haircuts and his blow-outs are AMAZING! I have long, curly hair and he can get it straight and bouncy like no one else can. I highly recommend this guy. The salon is beautiful and the people really nice too.

If you are looking for a colorist and stylist who will listen to exactly what you are seeking your hair to be, Will Charles is the place to go! After jumping from salon to salon, stylist to stylist up and down Newbury Street and beyond - over two years ago I FINALLY found the perfect salon for me... I cannot rave enough about Billy's ability to comprehend exactly what I am looking for in a color and style and to produce just that every single time. Billy’s attention to detail, combined with genuine integrity and of course a skill I have only found at Will Charles eased my apprehension from the first time I met him. I've never been disappointed and I am extremely picky about my hair. I have also had my hair cut and styled by a few of Billy’s stylists (including Eric) and have never been anything but less than satisfied. Most recently Patrick has been cutting my hair and he too is wonderful and talented. What a wonderful group, and wonderful atmosphere!

This place was fantastic in many ways. First and foremost they are excellent at cutting hair. I've tried lots of places and this is the best cut I've had in many years. In addition to doing a great job, Eric asked all the right questions: What are you looking for? How short? What kinds of styling do you do with your hair? Are you willing to put products in your hair? In the end, he created a haircut I love that's also low maintenance. Wonderful! In addition to getting a great haircut, I had a great overall experience at the salon. The environment is beautiful and the people are extremely nice and professional.

This place is great! This is the first online review I have ever written. I just got my first cut and color there and it's one of the best cuts I have had. The color looks awesome! I had color done by Billy, followed by a cut by Erik. The atmosphere is great as well. Everyone is very friendly and they will make you feel very comfortable and relaxed! Thank you Billy and Erik!

I've been going to Eric since 2006. I was new to the boston area, and after floating around a couple of salons, I struck gold with him. He knows hair, and will work with you to create a look that you want, and can maintain. I've also had my hair colored by Bill twice and was very very pleased.
